[16:52] [telegram] when I want to move the cursor from one monitor to the other, there are two scenarios: [16:52] [telegram] 1. if I do it quickly (ie the mouse cursor goes from monitor 1 to monitor 2 at 'high' speed), it works as exptected. BUT [16:52] [telegram] 2. if I do the exact same, in the exact same point of the "exit" monitor, the mouse cursor just stops inside monitor 1, as if there was a wall [16:52] [telegram] where is this setting configured and what is the rationale? [17:04] [telegram] ok I found it, it's the 'keep monitors attached' option. I never really understood this😅 [18:34] Good evening [18:34] From fair weather Sundra Mpumulanga South Africa [18:34] 20:34 here now [18:35] May I ask if Lubuntu is available for older 32 bit desktop machines? [18:41] [matrix] sorry, no [18:41] I don't think so [18:42] [telegram] It was like 2, 3 years back I guess [18:42] [telegram] You might wanna try older version [18:43] [matrix] older versions mean older security and that's not recommended [18:45] Let me know What you guys would recommend? My machines direct specs are: (using lscpu command-Architecture:i686 CPU op-mode(s):32-bit, 64-bit [18:47] ubuntu 18.04 at the moment but is slow, so I am hoping to try and get the pc "better". No high end stuff going on, Im still learning (really slow pace but Im getting there). [18:52] [matrix] looks like you can support 64 bit, so just run lubuntu and you'll be in the best possible situation [18:54] Thanks there lubot! :) I am hoping to get the Lubuntu OS on its own drive and keep the Ubuntu 18.04 as a "learn and break OS", its quite tough studying on your own, Chris Titus Techs videos on Youtube have been a great help. So I hope to be back with some skill set soon. :)
