[10:58] [telegram] I just downloaded a file using chrome, and saved into a folder where a file with the exact name existed, and I got no errors or warnings. Now I have two files with the same name, is that something normal? [10:59] [telegram] I mean, it normally automatically renames to "name(1).ext" but this time I got no messages or auto-renaming, overwrite warnings, etc. [11:00] [telegram] If I want to do the same with the file manager, I get the usual warning asking if I want to overwrite, etc. [11:09] most file-systems (if not all) will NOT allow two files of the same name; but what happens is specific to the app (ie. how chrome deals with a pre-existing name will be determined by chrome code) [11:09] check you don't have differences in the actual name (eg. case etc) [22:35] I guess my desktop becoming just blue issue happens when i press the switch desktop key combination is when there is no desktop switcher on my panel
