[05:59] mmikowski: kopying packages now [12:21] Hi all [13:07] hi BluesKaj [13:11] hi clivejo [16:10] awesome, thanks Rik. Will look for them today. Once ready, we can switch repos and ensure they are good. [20:48] Hey Rik, I remember we had some missing packages from experimental from before, so I did an audit on what was copied to backports-extra. There are a few that are missing, and they look familiar; they are probably needed for Nvidia / steam, etc. [20:58] Here is the package list. They all have the version 1.21.0-1~ubuntu22.04~ppa3: [20:58] libwayland-client0:i386 libwayland-cursor0:i386 libwayland-egl1:i386 libwayland-server0:i386 [20:59] I'll try running without those and see if steam works. FWIW, they ARE in the experimental repo. [21:07] ok, never mind about removing them; apt wants to remove 13 primary packages, and over 100 to autoremove. So I'm guessing these are important. [21:44] mmikowski: they are in the ppa and installable for me [21:49] https://launchpad.net/~kubuntu-ppa/+archive/ubuntu/backports-extra/+sourcepub/15192656/+listing-archive-extra [21:55] https://irc-attachments.kde.org/d1a27946/file_69238.jpg [22:48] hmmm, thanks Rik. Might be a flaw with the script. [22:49] All the other packages matched. [22:53] These are all i386 packages, so I bet it's a quirk with the aptitude search mechanism. [22:56] Yup, that's it. Aptitude reports :i386 in the name, but when asked to search on the same name, it doesn't work. Thus the discrepancy. I've revise the audit script for this. I'll let you know if there is any issue; I suspect there won't be.
