lubot[telegram] <lqlarry> Hi!  I was asked to come here by the Linux Saloon Telegram Community to share my problem.  I posted it on the Lubuntu Discourse last night so I'll just paste what I put there, and then add some more.13:54

lubot[telegram] <lqlarry> ```13:54
lubot[telegram] <lqlarry> My laptop has a native resolution of 2240x1400 (16:10). When I change the resolution to another 16:10 ratio like 1920x1200 using LXQT Monitor Settings the screen goes black and comes back at the 2240x1400. Same thing when I change the screen resolution with xrandr.13:54

lubot[telegram] <lqlarry> I am running a fresh install of Lubuntu 23.10 on a Lenova IdeaPad Flex 5 14ALC7 with a AMD Ryzen 7 5700U with integrated graphics.13:54
lubot[matrix] <kc2bez> Getting the bug process started is easy. In the terminal just type `ubuntu-bug lxqt-config` It should walk you through from there.14:02
lubot[matrix] <kc2bez> The change in monitor settings should popup a dialog box that requires you to select yes before the timer gets to 0 or it reverts back to the original setting.14:05
lubot[matrix] <kc2bez> Obviously if you can't see the dialog it is an issue.14:06
lubot[telegram] <lqlarry> The screen just goes black and when the timer gets to zero, then it returns to the native resolution.  Thanks for replying! 🙏 (re @lubuntu_bot: (matrix) <kc2bez> The change in monitor settings should popup a dialog box that requires you to select yes before the timer gets to 0 or it reverts back to the original setting.)14:21
lubot[telegram] <lqlarry> Bug report filed. (re @lqlarry: The screen just goes black and when the timer gets to zero, then it returns to the native resolution.  Thanks for replying! 🙏)22:09
