[21:06] Hello, the thing i was mentioning the other day, about the lxqt-arc thing from openbox was, in the end, this one: https://git.lubuntu.me/Lubuntu/artwork/src/branch/ubuntu/noble/src/usr/share/themes/Lubuntu%20Arc/openbox-3/themerc [21:07] I mentioned dino in the credits, althought i discovered the code from that file was totally different to what i had, which was clearlooks 3.4 template. Does that file also has the copyright data you already mentioned to me? [21:08] Which was: "copyright 2009-2017 Julien Lavergne, 2018 Simon Quigley, 2023 Walter Lachypnski." [21:12] LimeOn: Well... there's two answers. [21:12] The right answer is that apparently we built our copyright file wrong and need to tweak it :P [21:13] The technically correct answer is that, according to the copyright file, yes, the copyright info from earlier is listed as applying to that file in the debian/copyright file. [21:13] :D [21:13] I will add that too then, i was confused because i only saw that name [21:13] thank you! arraybolt3 [21:13] Personally, if I were you, I'd treat it as if the copyright info in the file itself was the only info that applied. If we cared that much, we would have added ourselves into that file. [21:14] And also, I now know I need to do a license audit. [21:14] :D [21:15] The licensing world is confunsing haha [21:15] So very confusing. [21:15] And the fact that the tracking data gets out of date doesn't help XD [21:17] there are too much files, that is prone to happen [21:18] Also you are handling a lot of work, so chances are higher ^^ [21:31] True.
