[09:17] I've seen on GitLab that UnityX hasn't been touched in nine months - has the project moved somewhere else or is it dead? [09:24] Since nobody here seems to be active and the code hasn't been updated ina great while I assume this project is dead. [09:24] Which is unfortunate, because I really like Unity. But I have to switch away from it because it's starting to show its age and UnityX isn't really ready yet AFAIK. [09:24] I'll ask here every now and then if UnityX is dead or not to see if I get a definitive answer from someone involved in the project or at least a present or recent-past user, but for now I'll start learning KDE's keybinds. [21:33] Quote: "Ubuntu Unity 23.10 continues to use Unity 7.7, which has undergone maintenance. Our primary focus for this release has been to gradually migrate away from Nux in UnityX, which is progressing well. Nux is holding us back from offering Wayland support without Xwayland. We were also pre-occupied with adding support for CUPS 2.0 in Unity [21:33] (printing), which has now been pushed back by Ubuntu to 24.04."
