[02:34] <xu-irc41w> it keeps resetting my theme to the default from the config that i copied from another user directory
[02:34] <xu-irc41w> i also can't change resolution without getting a black screen
[02:35] <xu-irc41w> what happened was i imaged this install from another disk
[02:35] <xu-irc41w> at first it worked fine
[02:35] <xu-irc41w> but then i updated it
[02:36] <xu-irc41w> looks like a permission issue
[02:36] <xu-irc41w> i started firefox through the terminal and it says the config directory is denying access
[02:42] <xu-irc41w> can someone help?  i really don't want to have to do a reinstall
[03:01] <xu-irc41w> i'm guessing that when i imaged the disk using the live usb it didn't set the ownership properly
