[21:29] <penguin42> hmm was that the UPS doing an overvoltage protect at 21:00 I wonder; https://cdn.mastodon.org.uk/media_attachments/files/111/716/774/016/634/529/original/5943e07479d5e867.png ?
[21:30] <daftykins> ooh err
[21:30] <daftykins> by coincidence i have one at a clients that is dropping its' entire load on weekends, then charges back up and boots things back up (mostly)
[21:31] <daftykins> just got a couple of twin cell packs for 2 of the same model on the way from a UK place, ought to sort things out
[21:31] <zxmpi> ups are like tape drives to me, i've never had a good experience with either
[21:32] <daftykins> they've never given me trouble, in this case it's the client having run it way past its' battery's lifetime since they have no documentation of anything and no idea
[21:34] <penguin42> it was a little odd in that I heard a relay click on that but there's no log message and the LCD didn't come on
[21:34] <daftykins> hmm
[21:35] <daftykins> maybe it had an identity crisis and it's turned itself into an IPS? ;) (for interruptible)
[21:35] <penguin42> I know it does that if the input disappears, I don't know what it's overvoltage behaviour is, but it was right at 250 for a couple of samples
[21:35] <penguin42> my samples are only every 10mins, so makes me wonder if it blipped over it
[21:42] <daftykins> would surely have just tripped to battery then back?
[21:42] <daftykins> so it's odd there's nothing on record
[21:45] <penguin42> nod
