[18:20] <xu-irc0w> hello, i recently bought a rii bluetooth keyboard to use with my linux desktop but it has a very poorly placed power button that instantly shuts down the computer.  is there a solution for disabling this on the operating system's end?  there is no way to disable this button without removing the thing.
[18:26] <diogenes_Vx15> xu-irc0w, one easy fix would be to go to system settings > settings editor > xfce4-power-manager > power-button-action and just disable it or set it to ask what to do or blank.

[18:47] <diogenes_Vx15> on Linux you can tweak everything down to modying the source code to suit your needs.

[18:48] <xu-irc0w> but the way it handles printers and bluetooth dongles is so much better as well
