skdnnwtf is with all those *t64 packages? will it be fixed before release?10:19
tomreyni believe this is related to https://www.phoronix.com/news/Debian-Experimental-64bit-Time10:20
rbasakThe fix *is* the *t64 packages.10:20
skdnnso some dead arch will have issues in 14 years and for that one needs to screw all the package names in ubuntu lts? is someone taking stupid pills?10:22
tomreynplease watch your language 10:23
tomreynhttps://wiki.debian.org/ReleaseGoals/64bit-time#Goal_description has more details10:24
skdnnwhat would we do without m68k10:27
rbasakThe package name of a library is an implementation detail. Nearly nobody should need to refer to it directly. It should be a automatically generated dependency in nearly all cases.10:31

SamuelMarksHow do I install this? - https://packages.ubuntu.com/source/noble/gnome-network-displays - I've tried `sudo add-apt-repository universe && sudo apt update && sudo apt install gnome-network-displays` but it gives me E: Unable to locate package gnome-network-displays19:10
BtbNProbably not at all right now, until the packages are rebuilt again19:22
SamuelMarks8 hours you think?19:27
BtbNwell, it's been nearly a week now19:32
rbasakSamuelMarks: that deb is published for noble. If your apt installation can't see it and you're running Noble, it's misconfigured.19:34
rbasakOr maybe you're using a mirror that's behind?19:35
rbasakHere's how I verified this: https://pastebin.ubuntu.com/p/5Y7JQ5sZc4/19:35
SamuelMarksweird. I'm definitely on 25.04 (with 6.8.4 kernel)19:45

CosmicDJany idea how to fix this? "apt install ksmbd-tools -> dpkg: error processing archive /var/cache/apt/archives/ksmbd-tools_3.5.1-1build2_amd64.deb (--unpack): unable to open '/usr/lib/systemd/system/ksmbd.service.dpkg-new': No such file or directory"19:47
CosmicDJmh installing ksmbd-tools_3.5.1-1_amd64.deb worked fine19:49
GeoknydaGood evening. Window resizing under X11 is partially functioning. For example, resizing works fine for regular windows to browse system & drive files and folders. However, windows for select programs such as Spotify or LibreOffice cannot be resized via draggin corners. They can only be resized by maximizing, minimizing, or dragging to a side of the screen. Checking with Wayland, this problem does 20:50
Geoknydanot exist.20:50
GeoknydaI would be happy to file a bug report, but 'ubuntu-bug' doesn't have sufficient granularity...20:51
