[20:02] <arraybolt3> mkukri, tsimonq2: I have been known to, uh, write grub.cfg from scratch in some corner cases :P That being said just usual GRUB updates are liable to wipe out stunts like that so I wouldn't worry about it too much. Maybe back up the existing file?
