I should try only live , but after backup, I entered -  sudo do-release-upgrade -d    It gave me some error messages, but when it restarted it was okey (re @plutorocks: You’re welcomed sharing how you did so. [22:14] <Undeadmage> Anyone know why I am having issue booting Kubuntu on my lenovo slim pro 9i? I can boot it on recovery mode but that's about it
