[12:40] <blaamann> I am sending a mini PC to my father. He will use it connected to his TV, using only a mouse to operate it. I have set up autologin.  My problem is how  to connect to his wifi using only a mouse?  One solution might be to add a script file on his desktop he can click.  The script will be a nmcli command  (e.g nmcli device wifi connect DADSWIFI password DADSPASSWORD).  Does this sounds like something that will work?
