[13:02] <superkuh> For the first time in my life I have a displayport monitor (as opposed to vga and dvi). Now every time I turn the power off to the displayport monitor my entire linux desktop layout gets changed and windows/etc get shunted to the "remaining" monitors. I run MATE (gnome2) and tried setting org.mate.settings-daemon.plugins.xrandr active false but it does nothing. The DE still "knows" about the monitor turning off. Anyone know of a fix?
