[08:12] <MikeAnblips> Hi - I've got a laptop with xubuntu 24.04 which I connect to an ultra-wide monitor. If I start with the monitor connected, no issue. But if I happen to take out the laptop as I need it elsewhere (e.g. a meeting), when I come back an plug the HDMI back in, the monitor resolution is not recognized
[08:12] <MikeAnblips> it is not even there among the options of the `display' window. So I'm forced to restart which is of course painful.
