Amozhello, would it be appropriate to mark #2063110 noble as "high-impact", seeing how it completely crashes for anyone using a session dir ( which i believe is quite common usecase) ?08:54
Amozfrom the SRU wiki page it says "Any regression must always be documented in a bug report, which must be Importance: critical once the regression has been confirmed. "08:55
rbasakAmoz: that text refers to an *SRU* that caused a regression. I don't think that's the case here?09:19
Amozah, in that case, nvm09:21
Amozthen i'll just proceed with proposing a SRU and see what sponsors says09:21
rbasakAmoz: if the bug means that the package is basically unusable in a common use case, then I agree that Importance: High is appropriate, but it doesn't actually say that anywhere in the bug. If you comment accordingly, I'll set the bug to High for you.09:21
rbasakHowever, that doesn't really have any effect. It's only High relative to the package itself.09:22
Amozrbasak, i'll add the SRU bug template, that should hopefully help any outsiders understand how vital it is. I believe most of the "regular" users have a session dir, so basically once they upgrade to 24.04.1 they will get a guaranteed unusable application.09:26
rbasakAmoz: thank you for working on it!10:12
