[19:52] <Guest65> still a little strange that the logs did not indicate recognizing my config because of this... but this resolved all my issues.
[20:00] <minimal> AFAIK the cloud-init shipped with Amazon Linux 2 is heavily modified by Amazon whereas the cloud-init shipped with AL2023 has few modifications from upstream
