IrcsomeBot_<Omarvx211> Hi guys is it safe to upgrade from 22.04 now?05:40
karenthedorfDefine Safe. Currently there is no automatic path to go from 22.04->24.04 until 24.04.1 comes out in August.05:41

karenthedorfHi! Who is the correct person to report a bug to in this case. I have altered the default kubuntu settings for for the amdgpu and radeon drivers named ci_support and cik_support so that amdgpu is responsible for these devices. This causes sddm to fail to start, however gdm3 works correctly and I can then log in to a Plasma(wayland) session. I'm not sure if my tinkering with kernel settings makes this an invalid for reporting as a KUbuntu bug.08:12

Dragnslcrkarenthedorf- you could try asking in #ubuntu-devel11:46

karenthedorfI've filed three bugs now on launchpad. The other two are a couple of months old and sitting in Tirage with no activity *sigh*. Maybe someone will look after .1 is released I guess.12:37
