[00:00] do you have any idea how to find and disable it, tomreyn? [00:01] derik48: the exact name of the setting and location in the bios setup screens is hardware specific, so you'd need to consult your computer manual [00:02] derik48: i'm only *guessing* that this is the issue, though, it's a bit difficult to tell at this point. [00:02] understandable, thank you for trying nonetheless, I will be looking in the manual now. [00:11] derik48: was there any error message given really when you were installing, though? [00:12] i mean here https://pastebin.com/raw/AcePYUkR the first line seems to be what you wrote, and the lines below that do not show an error or warning === derik is now known as deerick === diceLibrarian2 is now known as liceDibrarian === TomTom_ is now known as TomTom [10:33] hi which is the best way to install wine, thanks [11:54] Hi all [16:00] hello 😃 [17:21] hello every one [17:21] any one here [17:46] Yep hayder [18:13] hello [18:56] 32 bits suport? [19:21] not much support for 32 bit these days..... [22:13] Hello! I am a fresh installer of the latest version of Kubuntu, using the open source drivers provided to me by the OS's Driver Manager. When I switch my second monitor to anything above 60hz, the screen either blacks out a portion of the screen, horizontally, or darkens, at 165Hz, the intended refresh rate. [22:13] Can anyone help? [22:17] Hello? [22:17] Is anyone here? [22:21] Hi, yeah hmm let's see [22:23] Can you tell us more about the hardware you are using? Depending on the GPU, using closed source drivers could perform better [22:25] and I guess you are choosing the refresh rate from system settings -> display configuration [22:27] TimoSalola: he kinda left right before you said anything :| [22:28] ah well, wouldn't have been able to help much anyways. Just found a reddit post where someone had a similar sounding issue which doesn't occur on other linux distros. Perhaps that's just a a 24.04 issue
