It appears the 6.8.0 kernel is (at least for one user) triggering an interface name change with the i40e driver (i.e., if booted into a <6.8.0 kernel on Ubuntu 22.04, the interface has one name, if booted into a >=6.8.0 kernel the interface has another name).
