[11:39] <mparillo> I think the only reason for the Ubuntu pro upgrade is if you want security patches for older versions. If you keep current (LTS on Kubuntu is three years), you should not need Ubuntu Pro.

[22:29] <moffa> Is there a workaround to get the Kubuntu 24.04.1 installer to use a luks2 partition? Calamares crashes on me everytime with a Segmentation Fault.
[22:36] <pedahzur> Probably not the via the installer, but you can do a server install (with the text-based installer) and then do `apt-get install task-kde-desktop` as a last-resort work-around. Might have to fiddle with networking config as well.
