thibf | Bardon: Generally you have 3 ways: | 07:53 |
---|---|---|
thibf | - Bisect by building then testing | 07:53 |
thibf | - Add logs and try pinpoint where in the kernel the issue happens | 07:53 |
thibf | - Read the changelogs/upstream to find what could have affected this | 07:53 |
thibf | Mix and match for better results | 07:53 |

Bardon | thibf: Ok, I compiled kernels myself and got no issues (with make defconfig). So, maybe it could be because of a change in the .config used to compile the kernel in Ubuntu. A change that would have happened between 5.11 and 5.12 | 15:37 |
Bardon | Is there a place where I can see the changes to that file? Maybe a git repo or something | 15:37 |
Bardon | For context, I'm talking about this :) https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/2078726 | 15:37 |
