OutOfServiceHi22:06
OutOfServiceI'm lloking for a way to transfer the ubuntu2x autoinstaller logs to a rsyslog server on the fly. I've tried the reporting option in https://canonical-subiquity.readthedocs-hosted.com/en/latest/reference/autoinstall-reference.html#reporting but it's always failing the install. I'm not able to find anything useful on logs, so I think I need some help. Could yu please gime me some advice?22:07
kenyonOutOfService: I don't know, but this sentence in the docs you linked to make me think that remote syslog is not implemented yet: "The rsyslog reporter does not yet exist."22:40
kenyonerr, not "remote syslog". it sounds like that type is supposed to send to a local rsyslog, which then may be configured to forward logs to another machine22:41
OutOfServiceyes, I think the same22:44
OutOfServicethe only thing related to rsyslog is to configure a deployed machine with rsyslog enabled and configured to send the logs to a remote server in https://cloudinit.readthedocs.io/en/latest/reference/modules.html#rsyslog22:45
OutOfServiceI think there is nothing I can do to send the installation logs to a remote syslog server...22:46
OutOfServicethanks for your answer kenyon22:46
