[08:21] Hello Folks. I came across this on Mastodon. [08:21] "Petty rant: the Firefox snap update notification on Kubuntu annoys the hell out of me. It doesn't appear for a few seconds then fades like other notifications. Nope it just stays there until you manually dismiss it. Same with the notification to tell you that it's updated." [08:21] I noticed it too with Snaps for Telegram and Element. [08:23] Is that behavior different elsewhere? Not sure we do anything to change snap notifications [08:23] https://irc-attachments.kde.org/e545b739/file_78608.jpg [08:24] Yes, ordinarily the KDE notifications count down, and then dissappear, rather then sticking on the deskop as shown int he image [08:24] I know the behavior. I just click the little x after closing the app and it goes aways and updates [08:25] Yes that what I've been doing too, until someone mentioned it and I thought Hmmm... actually that's not optimal [08:25] I need to know if it behaves differently elswhere [08:29] @Rick_Timmis You did the calamaras artwork? Anyway you can modify it for 24.10? [08:29] Oh yes, it's all in the Kubuntu Github repo, [08:30] It's the Branding Repository [08:30] I can make up some stuff for 24.10 no problem, leave it with me [08:30] Thank you!! [08:41] Can I get access to that please? (re @Rick_Timmis: Oh yes, it's all in the Kubuntu Github repo,) [08:44] I mean to https://github.com/kubuntu-team [09:09] plus any other kubuntu dev who wants it [09:10] Seems I have the power, invite sent (re @RikMills: plus any other kubuntu dev who wants it) [09:12] Received and joined. Thanks! (re @sgmoore: Seems I have the power, invite sent) [11:47] Hi all [13:55] The “Please adhere to our https://githubhttps://github.com/kubuntu-team/kubuntu-branding/blob/main/Kubuntu_Brand_and_Graphics/Brand_Guide.pdfcom/kubuntu-team/kubuntu-branding/blob/main/Kubuntu_Brand_and_Graphics/Brand_Guide.pdf” on the GitHub readme for branding repo is a broken link [20:19] https://www.reddit.com/r/Ubuntu/comments/1fjmz10/just_took_2410_for_a_spin_to_sum_it_up_in_one/lnp9g64/ [20:19] I will fix that soon if no one else gets there 1st (re @MichaelTunnell: The “Please adhere to our Branding Guide” on the GitHub readme for branding repo is a broken link)
