[14:19] <guruprasad> I am upgrading my wife's computer from Kubuntu 22.04 to 24.04 via the GUI upgrader prompt and the upgrade seems to be stuck for more than 10 minutes trying to install the thunderbird snap. Is this expected or is it a cause for concern?

[16:19] <tomreyn> personally, i'd always recommend to remove any PPA and third party apt repositories and packages (versions) installed from there before starting a release upgrade
