I set up a PC running Kubuntu for my mum, but she regularly forgets to manually update her system. So i was thinking there should be a way to do this automatically. Thanks in advance!

[16:34] <tomreyn> if so, there's also unattended-upgrades, a tool which can install some or all (depending on configuration) updates fully automatically, and optionally keep you informed about it.

[20:20] <soundscout> hi, i seem to have a problem with nvidia and wayland under kubuntu 24.10, can anyone give me some tips?
[20:22] <soundscout> if i open systemsettings and start the driver management, it takes a very long time until the nvidia drivers get listed.
[20:23] <soundscout> and though i chose to install nvidia 560 driver (which worked perfectly fine with cuda and blender under LTS) it claims after reboot, that no propriearity drivers are in use.
