[16:00] <ball> Got a leaflet through the door this week from a "new" ISP supposedly offering gigabit fibre to the home.
[16:01] <ball> Company I'd never heard of but supposedly they're out of a neighbouring town.

[16:03] <ball> Currently on VDSL.  Cable will happily sell service to my house but they can't actually make it work.
[16:03] <daftykins> ah yeah i'm on 60/10 VDSL2 on a ~600m line
[16:03] <ball> I think it works at the neighbouring houses.
[16:04] <ball> I gave them a year to fix it but they couldn't (rolled multiple trucks, replaced the coax drop to the house etc.)
