brlinAnyone know how to build Mesa i386 packages in an AMD64 system?  I have tried building it using `debuild --host-arch i386` but have trouble installing the build dependencies.06:23
cjwatsonbrlin: sbuild with an i386 chroot?08:31
cjwatsonyou don't usually want to be building packages directly in your host system anyway08:31
brlincjwatson: Thanks for the info, I'll check it out.08:32
arraybolt3FYI for those who are on Matrix or want to be on Matrix, #devel:ubuntu.com is now a thing. It is only for communication with devs who are on Matrix, it is very clear that this room is still needed, that patch piloting and whatnot happens here and not on Matrix, etc. I made it since #flavors:ubuntu.com was getting a bit overloaded with general dev stuff, and thought it was worth mentioning16:54
arraybolt3here.16:54
arraybolt3(I just love it when my message is just barely too big to fit in one IRC "segment" :P)16:54

sudipany idea why armhf binaries for hdf5 package are missing in Plucky? Oracular has those.20:44
sudippublishinghistory does not say anything about removal from armhf20:47
jbichasudip: it doesn't look to be missing https://people.canonical.com/~ubuntu-archive/madison.cgi?package=hdf5&a=armhf&S=on21:10
jbichaLaunchpad can also show binary package removal, different from source package removal21:12
jbichago to say https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/hdf5/1.10.10+repack-4ubuntu3 then click armhf then one of the binary packages then go up one level in the directory or breadcrumbs21:13
sudipsorry, my bad. I was looking at libhdf5-openmpi-dev which is not there for armhf, not there in oracular also. sorry for the noise21:22
sudipthanks jbicha21:22
liushuyusudip: armhf uses mpich implementation instead of openmpi one, due to modern openmpi breaks on 32-bit architectures22:19
