[13:08] and we are back [13:18] somehow without data loss and extensive rebuild [14:31] turns out LSI raid cards basically build native linux software raid volumes - mounted drives in an alternative chassis, expecting to have to format and start again but ubuntu auto detected and started resyncing the arrays no data loss on the data volumes [14:32] slow but hey at least not re syncing 100TB of data while awaiting actual new replacement hardware [14:33] not sure if the DNS records will automatically be swung back to us or if someone needs to push the button [15:05] DNS for country mirrors have to be updated by us (Canonical). Would you mind emailing mirrors@ubuntu.com if that's needed ? [15:29] sure will do it [15:36] done
