BluesKajHi all13:02
cioran0Which windows compatibility layer do you guys use? I need to edit some video14:23
cioran0And use corel pinnacle14:23
cioran0And Kdenlive doesn't do some stuff I need14:23
IrcsomeBot_<TimoSalola> Haven't tried using compatibility layers with video or image editors but davinci resolve runs on linux natively and the free version is said to be fairly good. So it could be a valid alternative to kdenlive14:58
cioran0Thx for reply! I didn't think of resolve since it's complicated, but if it runs natively on linux that's a gamechanger!15:05
cioran0Can resolve do lower thirds and titles?15:08
cioran0(With the free version)15:09
IrcsomeBot_<TimoSalola> i think kdenlive should be able to do those and I don't see why those wouldn't be features of resolve15:11
IrcsomeBot_<TimoSalola> features included in the free version that is15:12
IrcsomeBot_<TimoSalola> I've understood that the major limitations of free resolve are not being able to grade 10 or higher bit depth video and not having access to some AI tools resolve has15:12
cioran0Yeah think ill use kdenlive15:15
cioran0Just wish this came packed with templates like corel15:16
