arif-aliis it normal that any debian sync that has autopkgtest failures it gets ignored? or is it encouraged to get those fixed in Debian for the next sync. As I've seen that my package auto-sync'd last night, went into proposed and then migrated11:20
sudipafaik, autosync does not check Debian autopkgtest results. If there is no autopkgtest regression in Ubuntu then it will migrate.11:34
sudipwhich package was it?11:34
arif-aliit was sosreport11:42
arif-aliThe same thing happened with oracular, but now that I am doing a new SRU, am having to fix these ;) I'm pretty new-ish to the whole Ubundu/debian development so hence the question. I'll be fixing the package so that they are resolved for plucky, but curious on the whole aspect11:43
arif-aliEspecially the fact sid had also failed it's autopkgtests and hadn't migrated to trixie yet11:44
RikMillsarif-ali: 4.8.2-1? update_excuses did not show a regression in the tests last night11:47
RikMillsif the tests were already failing in our release pocket (which it looks like they were) then it would be a candidate to migrate11:48
RikMillshttps://autopkgtest.ubuntu.com/packages/sosreport/plucky/amd6411:51
sudipfrom the proposed-migration logs, britney saw it as test fail but still considered it as a valid candidate11:52
arif-aliright, I see, I think it all stems from the first sync for oracular, previous ubuntu packages had passed, but the first sync had a failed autopkgtest, but someone must of migrated it with failure, and hence since then it's always failed and always migrated11:53
RikMillsbecause the release pocket version was also failing and the migration reference there confirmed it11:53
arif-aliright, I see11:53
sudipright, migration-reference/0 also failed11:54
RikMillsif you get it passing in the release pocket that should reset things11:58
arif-alicoolio, got a new sync coming later to fix the Debian pkg, which will fix plucky too11:59
ricotzmapreri, hey :), could you take a look at https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libreoffice/+bug/209128214:05

liushuyuHi, can someone sponsor https://code.launchpad.net/~liushuyu-011/ubuntu/+source/rust-defaults/+git/rust-defaults/+merge/471110? Thanks!19:56
sudipmirespace: you updated dpdk last time. Debian now has 24.11.1-1. is it ok to sync it to Debian now ?20:53
