[17:52] <pleia2> just heard from cjwatson over there: restricted architecture on Launchpad (as far as I know there are currently no restricted architectures, in fact), so they should just be able to build the snap on LP.  You'd just need to select "Edit snap package" on its recipe page in LP first and check s390x under "Processors".
