[12:56] soumen: this sounds like a good plan - if you can get the drivers installed that way. but it usually work. for example, you can - almost always - just connect your smartphone (if you have one) to the computer via usb bable, and configure the phone to share its internet connection (be it a local wireless or 4/5G). this doesn't require additional drivers to be installed on the linux desktop - all you need to do there is to enable the connection.
