* guiverc noticed nothing on updates02:31
guiverclooks good to me Bashing-om , thank you sir.02:33
Bashing-omguiverc: Appreciate your sharp eyes too :D // On another front - before airing any laundry that might be dirty - I have a proto type of "What say you" in our template. See what you think please.02:45
guivercI'd suggest using upper case in title (I like all lower case, but it'll look unusual in index I fear)... & I'd probably remove some \n's  eg. https://paste.ubuntu.com/p/YCGM7fsTNp/02:57
Bashing-omediting03:05
Bashing-omguiverc: ## What Say You ## I would rather that it were as a statement vice a question .. and the name of submitter as a signature at the end.03:22
guivercsignature at end okay; but I'd prefer it on the same line as the text; not line after..  (we could have "Signed: Bashing-om"  but I don't think "Signed:" helps.03:24
Bashing-omguiverc: My intention herein is to lead by example :P03:24
guiverc"## A good think (Bashing-om)" could also be "## A good thing by Bashing-om" to avoid ()03:25
guivercI realize that (leading by example.. I started editing your text (start) at first, then felt that wasn't a good thing either so reverted those changes..03:26
guiverc(my changing text was to make it more summary-consistent with regards wording, but that also takes away from the original-nature of what the posts are supposed to be which is NOT good)03:27
Bashing-omguiverc: We can run A good thing by Bashing-om up the flag pole and see how it flys :P03:30
Bashing-omsaved the template - see now if you like.03:31
guivercno issues with it... I'm no fan of \n before "What is your story?"  but adding that to a 'contributor submission' isn't great either...   At least initially, we may want to include a short 'intro' (or could be ending)  but I'm not thinking of replacing your <ins> text.. something we leave in issue (at least initially; 1 sentence hopefully only)..03:39
* guiverc going to go walk dog, BOM (bureau meterology) suggest more rain coming..03:42
guiverc^ bom do spel their name correctly... meteor....03:43
Bashing-omguiverc: Before we go live i intend to get aaronprisk's opinion - if he considers that this will further the Newsletter.03:43
guivercthat is a great idea.. (this discussion may have been better if we'd had it on matrix.. more eyes tehre maybe)... but had that thought a tad late..03:43
Bashing-om*HOT* and dry here -- we have hope for rain in a couple of days in the forcast.03:44
Bashing-omcopy and paste to Matrix ?03:45
guivercmaybe not copy/paste.. we could just talk about it [on matrix] when we're working on next issue.. bring up some of ^ discussion there  (even do that via ping to AaronPr in that room; or were you thinking of discourse pm/message?  I suspect that's better than just copy/paste..03:52
* guiverc away awhile..03:52
Bashing-omguiverc: Back on ?05:22
guiverc~yeah... got rained on so didn't get far from home05:22
Bashing-omCurious, Mouse cursor locator - is the key binding universal - in Xubuntu is the combo super+F1 - does this also work in Lubuntu ?05:25
guivercI'm using `xfwm4` for my WM, a Lubuntu default uses `openbox`, so whilst most of my lubuntu shortcuts/key-bindings will work; not all will...   Given I don't know what you're expecting with Super+F1 I'm betting NOPE..  I'd have to logout & login with an Xfce sesssion to see what it does there... I do have EYES on panels on all my monitors to help me find my mouse-pointer !!  (ie. six [sets, not 3x2] eyes looking direction of mouse-pointer at 05:30
guivercall times - my aid here on LXQt)05:30
Bashing-omguiverc: On Xfce super+F1 gives an expanding radii in the quadrant of the mouse cursor.05:35
guivercI'll endeavour to try that when using xfce... hold on.. (realized I have a noble box in another room running logged into xubuntu/xfce..)05:36
guivercthat is cute..  so nope I don't have it here.. (not sure I'll remember it; I tend not to if not available in all my environments.. but it maybe helpful, more useful than my eyes which are far from perfect..)05:38
Bashing-omJust curious if particular to the Xfce environment or if a kernel thing.05:42
guivercI'm betting Xfce.. as I'm not getting it here on LXQt using xfwm4 as WM, but sorry I don't know.05:44
Bashing-om:-)05:47
